August 2014 we traveled to Brazil with our import partner Ally Brazil. Our goal was to find the best coffee of the harvest. We cupped upwards of 50 coffees and two stood out.

The Black Diamond with its notes of chocolate, caramel, almond and full body seemed ideal for espresso. The Blue Diamond carries a delicious citric acidity as found in lemons & tangerines, with a nearly perfect, lingering finish. Together these coffees formed a complex and delicious cup. We knew what we had to do - we bought both.

We believe this coffee has it all. Besides having a great flavor profile, it is also fully traceable. Each bag of green coffee comes with a QR code containing all the farm information plus a complete flavor analysis from certified Q Graders.
